A NEW ECLIPSE
Twin brothers Alan Hackney (drums and backing vocals ) and Phillip Hackney (lead and backing vocals) formed Double Eclipse in 1994.

D.E.E.P.
At the end of the 1995 the band recorded D.E.E.P., a four track EP.  The following year saw more gigs and positive reviews for the EP.  The track Can You Tell Me? received radio airplay on Hallam FM, 96 Trent FM and Aire FM.

HAVE IT YOUR WAY
With lead guitarist Mikael Johannesson on board, the twins independently recorded and released the debut Double Eclipse album Have It Your Way in March, 1999.

FREEDOM TO FUNCTION
Second album Freedom To Function was released in January, 2003.  Alongside Mikael Johannesson, Richie Spencer and David Gotteri were brought in.  Phil Abram co-produced after impressing the twins during the making of Have It Your Way.

UK RADIO STATION HOUSEBAND
Nottingham's 96 Trent FM had the band installed as Houseband for two weeks running on their morning breakfast show.  Chance To Make It Right, taken from the Freedom To Function album, could be heard everyday from 9-23 April, 2003.

ELOQUENT FACE DOWN
On December 21, 2006, the band released their third album Eloquent Face Down.
